About

LINIA FLORÉN

Florence McMullan is an artist and designer. Linia Florén, founded by Central Saint Martins alumna Florence McMullan, is a multidisciplinary interior furnishing brand specialising in surface design, sculptural objects, and collectible furniture. The studio explores the intersection of architecture and femininity, blending intricate patterns, sculptural forms, and narrative-driven design.

At the core of Linia Florén’s philosophy is an experimental and research-led approach, where parametric design transforms data into artistic expressions across 2D and 3D mediums. From surface designs inspired by historical datasets that focus on women’s emancipation to sculptural furniture that balances structure and fluidity, each piece merges artistry with meaning, creating visually striking and deeply conceptual pieces.

With a multidisciplinary practice, Florence integrates hands-on expertise in set dressing, prop sourcing, styling, and fabrication, combining technical knowledge with an intuitive sense of composition. Skilled in 3D making, she seamlessly bridges digital design with physical craft, ensuring a fluid transition between conceptual development and fabrication.

Beyond furniture and interiors, Florence’s expertise extends to spatial composition and furniture styling, shaping immersive environments that merge storytelling with aesthetics. Linia Florén represents the blossoming of ideas—where structured lines and soft elegance converge to create objects that inspire, engage, and redefine the boundaries of design.
